De Tomaso Zonda, 1971. Designed by Tom Tjaarda of Ghia the Zonda featured a front mounted 350hp Ford Cleveland 5,563cc V8 and was built on a shortened De Tomaso Deauville chassis. It was intended to be sold in the US alongside the Pantera and Deauville saloon through Lincoln dealerships. However Ford felt there would be no market for the car and it was not developed beyond the prototype
