Six-liter V8 with over 600 hp

The new Ginetta is based on a carbon fiber chassis. The body is molded from this noble and lightweight material. The new Ginetta is fired by a freely sucking, longitudinally installed V8 engine, which sits in front of the two passengers as a front mid-engine. The six-liter eight-cylinder with 90-degree bank angle and made of the solid machined aluminum cylinder block is derived from a racing unit and is manufactured by Ginetta itself. As power over 600 hp is specified. The maximum torque should be at 700 Nm. The Attendee is coupled with a sequential six-speed gearbox, which is connected by paddles on the carbon steering wheel. Only the rear wheels are driven by a carbon prop shaft. Since Ginetta traditionally relies on lightweight construction, it is not surprising that brings the new supercar dry only 1,150 kilograms. The axle load distribution gives the British with 49% front and 51% on the rear axle.

675-liter trunk

The driver and front passenger sit in carbon monocoque molded seat shells and are protected by an integrated FIA roll cage. To adjust the ergonomics, the pedals can be adjusted. Otherwise dominate in the cockpit carbon, Alcantara and aluminum. The Ginetta Supercar can also be every day. The trunk holds sate 675 liters of luggage. The equipment includes ABS and traction control as well as a reversing camera, heated front and rear windows, parking sensors, automatic lighting, air conditioning and an inductive charging cradle for mobile phones.

The Ginetta Supercars car specifications. The coupe carries a long muzzle, short overhangs and flared wheel arches. The bonnet is strongly perforated, on the rear sits a lushly dimensioned spoiler. Even otherwise open everywhere vents and vents. The underbody is fully covered. The bottom line is that the aerodynamic measures at 160 km generate around 380 kilograms of downforce.

From the Ginetta Supercar in the first year of production (2020), only 20 copies are to be made. 60% of them should already be sold. As a price Ginetta calls about 400,000 pounds – the equivalent of 465,000 euros.
