Volvo XC90 Supercharged V8, 2005. For a short time in the 2000s Volvo used a DOHC 32 valve V8 engine that was built by Yamaha. At the Los Angeles Auto Show they presented a supercharged version of the V8 XC90 but it was never put on sale. The XC90 V8 was discontinued in 2011.
